Beschreibung
The school is located in the center of the city, in the
district of Santa Maria Novella. From here, you can reach
the most famous places of Florence, such as the Cascine,
the main parks area of the city, favourite place of runners,
cyclists, skaters, soccer players and other fanatics of
the outdoors sports. The school has a comfortable and
bright hall with music, newspapers, and a piano, etc.
Each classroom has its own entrance, natural light and
a small balcony; there are also two terraces with magnificent
panoramic views of the city.
Unterkunft
The school offers single or double rooms in houses of
unmarried couples, young people, Italian students or foreigners,
or rooms to share with students of the school. Also residences,
hotels or family houses with breakfast or half board.
Unterricht
The school has diverse courses. The intensive course
is oriented to students who love to take classes only
for two weeks, although it is possible to take up to
16 weeks. As the students have 6 hours of classes per
day, Italian becomes the main language for them. The
standard course combines study and free time. It lasts
2, 3 or 4 weeks, with classes of 4 daily hours. The
semester course is designed to those who have the time.
The intensive individual course allows the student to
have his own professor, who can orient the teaching
to the professional and academic motivations of the
student. Finally, the conversation course offers 2 hours
of class per day and it is dedicated to the conversation
and discussion of current Italian subjects.
Aktivitäten
The school offers courses of Italian culture, history
of the art, Italian fashion, contemporary Italian Literature,
business and, with exception of the Italian cuisine
classes, these courses are oriented to students who
have certain dominion of the Italian language.
