In the city of Padua is located one of the oldest and most famous Universities (from the 13th century). Here ancient and modern stand side by side: one can admire ancient masterpieces like the Roman Arena, the Scrovegni Chapel, with frescos by Giotto, Saint Anthony's Basilica, Saint Justina's Basilica, the Augustinian church of the Eremitani, and the Pedrocchi Café. Completing the picture are the beautiful squares of the old city, surrounded by typical arcades and separated by the impressive Palazzo della Ragione. From Padua, one can easily travel to other important cities such as Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Treviso and Bologna. The school is in the historical center of the city.
