Milan’s life is quicker than most Italian cities. Milan, the fashion capital of Italy, is an elegant city with its wide, tree-lined boulevards and graceful architecture. With nearly two million inhabitants, it is not only the economic, financial and trade capital of Italy but also brings to the mind the culture, La Scala, the fashion world, the Italian design and technology. But above all Milan is a young city! There are many aspects of Milan which make it a stimulating place: the dynamic nightlife, the characteristic atmosphere of the Navigli, the central streets with their shop windows, the fashion and the intense cultural life. The school has an excellent location in the centre of Milan in a well-known street in the commercial area, Corso Buenos Aires. It is easy to get there because it is very close to the Subway station Lima. Linguadue is located in a beautiful art nouveau building and its premises are of high standards: private study rooms, cafeteria, student’s lounge and a garden are available for the students.

Lodging

Accommodation options are well connected by public transport and include family houses, private or shared apartments with other Italian students, apart-hotels and hotels.

Academics

Programs have been carefully structured with the objective of teaching the language to our students and give them the confidence they need in different situations : at university, in the business world or with friends. We employ the most advanced teaching methods and resources. Grammar and vocabulary are introduced gradually. Particular emphasis is placed on developing communicative skills in speaking and writing. We have group and individual classes and also a program of internship, exams preparation, Italian for business and other technical languages.

Activities

Each month the school offers a programme of activities organized exclusively for the students providing an opportunity to have fun, practice their Italian and meet other students. An art historian will take them on excursions to visit museums, world-renown pieces of art and places of historical interest. Local trips are arranged and also to other cities in Italy. It is possible to assist to afternoon lectures on Italian traditions and current events or watch Italian films. There are Italian cuisine lessons. There are also many occasions to practice sports and to enjoy evenings out for dinner or at a disco with your new friends.
