Description
Bologna is a city rich in history and culture. It is host of the oldest University of Europe. The school is located only 10 minutes away from the historical center, near the main railway station, well connected through buses, and easy to reach from the freeway. The school has a languages lab and a computer room with access to the Internet.

Lodging
The school offers single and double rooms, with or without the use of the kitchen, in the house of Italian hosts.

Academics
By a level test students are assigned to one of the three levels of the courses. The training program is designed to be developed in a month and it is divided in two parts: grammar and conversation. The objective of the elementary levels is that the students have basic communicative skills in Italian, used in most of the daily situations. In the intermediate level, the students develop their vocabulary and reach a deeper knowledge of the syntactic structure of the Italian, improving their expression capacity. The advanced courses looks for a deeper knowledge of the language searching oral and writing precision. In the courses students are involved through activities of role-playing and direct contact with the real life outside the school.

Activities
Other activities include: cultural trips, visits to stores and institutions in the area of Bologna, visits to craftsmen factories, trips to the nature, and evenings out. Also courses of local and Mediterranean cuisine, Italian Literature, Italian music (singer-songwriters, folkloric, classical music and opera), Italian cinema and theater.
