Lodging
Europass Center helps students in the search of lodging
in family houses, apartment or hotels.
Academics
Europass offers intensive, group and individual courses
of Italian language , structured in nine levels. It
has also combined courses. An additional option is an
internship program with a language course, ideal for
those looking for work experience. The Europass courses
are credited in Germany in agreement with the policy
of Bildungsurlaub. The classes are formed by 4 - 10
students of different nationalities. The didactic method
is based on a communicative approach, which enables
the students to assimilate linguistic patterns and reproduced
situational contexts from the first day. Therefore,
the grammar elements appear for their practical application.
This method is parallel to the development of the four
basic skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing.
Activities
The school offers cultural courses. Those of history
of the art start on the 14th century in Tuscany, the
early Renaissance, the Medici and art in Florence in
second half of the 15th century, Leonardo, Michelangelo.
The course of Italian Literature is based on the reading
and analysis of the main Italian authors from Dante
to the contemporaries. The course of Italian history
is focused in the present time from the period of the
political unit (1861). The classes of Tuscany cuisine
can be taken in two ways: the one of a standard course
and other with recipes of manuscripts from the 15th
and 16th centuries.
