Description
The school is in a 19th century building in the center
of Florence in front of the Bargello National Museum.
The area is close to the Cathedral and the Palazzo Vecchio,
but far from the noise. The student is literally immersed
in the artistic, historical and cultural heart of Florence,
the "cradle of the Renaissance", quite close
to the most prestigious monuments of the Romanesque, Gothic
and the 15th century art. The other "attractions"
of Tuscany are easy to reach: San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa,
Lucca, Carrara and its marble, the most famous in the
world thanks to Michelangelo, and Versilia, one of the
most famous sea resorts in Italy.
Lodging
The school offers lodging in family houses with breakfast
or average pension, in shared and private apartments,
hotels or pensions.
Academics
Language courses are developed from Monday to Friday.
At the beginning of each course, a written and oral
exam allows a correct evaluation of the linguistic knowledge
of the student. The super intensive courses offer a
combination of programs that include the intensive course
of Italian language. In the mornings the group lessons
are given. In the afternoon the students take individual
classes and can choose the number of special modules
that its level requires.
Activities
Students can use their free time as they want. Usually
there are many things to do and many places to visit
in Tuscany. The teachers help the students during their
trips and sometimes they can join them.
