Pontevecchio center is located in Piazza della Signoria, near the Palazzo Vecchio and the Galleria degli Uffizi. CPV is in a Renaissance building and offers maximum comfort, a terrace, air conditioning, facilities for the break and the lunch.

On the students request, the center provides lodging in residential areas near the center. The options include: shared apartments with other students, family houses with breakfast or average pension, private apartments, residences, hotels, pensions.

PonteVecchio center offers diverse courses all the year: group courses, one-to-one classes, a combination of both, professional Italian, art and cuisine. There are also special courses: the preparatory course of Italian for the professional schools and applied arts and for the exams of the University of Siena, training of professors of Italian language, etc. Also cuisine courses that can be combined with Italian classes. Students receive an attendance certificate at the end of the course.

PonteVecchio center organizes a program of activities to know the culture and the Italian lifestyle. The teachers participate in all the activities. Guided visits to Florence and trips to other cities are organized. Lunchs are shared , Italian films are exhibited and wines are tasted. The Center gives to the students an updated guide on Florence and offers services such as, discounts on cibercafes, bars and stores, museums tickets, mail, fax, email, etc.
