Description
Florence is the native city of Dante, the father of Italian
language. Almost 700 years after his death, Florence still
enjoys the unquestioned title of being the centre of the
Italian language. Florence is also the cradle of the Renaissance
and the home of innumerable art treasures. A short twenty
minutes walk from the historical centre of the town will
bring you to the hills where you can see the harmonious
blending of nature and civilisation over the centuries.
The school is pretty small, with a familiar atmosphere.
It offers, in addition, a linguistic lab with audio-visual
didactic material and multimedia, all available to the
students.
Lodging
The school can help the students to find rooms (single
or double) in an apartment with other students or Italian
families, private apartment or in country houses just
outside Florence.
Academics
The study of the linguistic structure is integrated
with the daily life. The learning Method, based on modern
communicative techniques and the support of audio-visual
didactic material and multimedia, gives great importance
to the construction of a solid grammar. The classes
are made up of a maximum of 7 students. The courses,
of a minimum duration of two weeks, are organized in
5 levels with the objective of adapting them to each
degree of knowledge.
Activities
The school offers the students a minimum of three extra
curricular activities per week. Lectures, guided visits
to monuments and museums, panoramic walks, evenings
at the cinema and concerts, classes in "Language
& cuisine" are some of the available possibilities.

are free wherever possible. In the summer additional
'out of town trips' (e.g. Lucca, Siena, seaside towns,
...) are foreseen during weekends.
