Description
The school is located right in the center of Florence,
in the Cathedral Square.
Lodging
The Institute proposes different lodging: private or
shared apartments with other students, family houses,
pensions, hotels, religious residences or pensions.
Academics
The methodology used for the Italian courses is based
on the most modern concepts of learning, that is to
say, the student is offered the possibility to “live”
the language and to know its spoken and written use.
Its not that important grammar and syntactic structures.
Due to it, great number of didactic and audio-visual
material is used, constantly updated. The classes are
made up of 8-9 people, until a maximum of 12.
Activities
The Institute is also an active cultural center in which
the student has the opportunity to know and to study
Italian Literature, history, music and art as well as
cuisine, the typical wines, places and the characteristics
of an ancient and simultaneously modern civilization.
The Institute organizes every day, different optional,
cultural and recreational activities, including in the
price of the course. During their stay in Florence,
the students are invited to participate in celebrations,
meals and dinners in typical Florence restaurants, with
friends and professors. On Sundays, trips to places
of artistic and cultural interest are organized, under
the guide of the professor of history of the art, such
as Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Assisi, Pisa, Orvieto,
Ravenna, etc. In summer excursions to le Cinque Terre,
Tower of the Lake, etc are organized. It is possible
to visit Rome and Venice.
