Description
The school is located in the historical center of Florence,
in the district of Santo Spirito, cradle of craftsmen
and artists, where the economic and social characteristics
have remain intact. The school is also in Piazza Santo
Spirito, one of the city’s cutest neighbourhoods.
With its bars and out-door cafés, its daily market,
workshops and restaurants, it is the favourite place of
the Florentines and provides our students an excellent
opportunity to meet them.
Lodging
Students can choose between simple or double rooms in
apartments with shared kitchen or half board or in a
hotel.
Academics
Apart from grammar and syntax it is considered that
there are four skills - reading, writing, listening
and speaking - which need to be studied and developed
right from the first level, to achieve comprehension
and expression in authentic communicative situations.
Structures and vocabulary are adapted to the lower levels
and become progressively more complex until, at the
advanced levels, different texts are used to encourage
the recognition and reproduction of different language
styles.
